The Perfect Cowl

Picture
Level: Advanced Beginner to Intermediate

Duration: Three Hours

The perfect cowl is achieved by a combination of good techniques and fabulous yarn. In this case, the yarn is White Gum Wool and the pattern Uwland, has been written to showcase this yarn.

In achieving perfection, you will learn a number of seemingly daunting, but really deceptively easy techniques; a super simple way to work a tubular cast on and cast off to provide a rounded professional edging for ribbing; reading your lace work and charts; and fixing mistakes so you never have to rip out entire rows again.

Class Requirements: a 4.5mm and 5mm 40cm circular needle and one ball of White Gum Wool 8ply. A straight needle around the 4.5mm size would also be handy.

The pattern will be supplied with the class notes.
